January 2004 - Part 2 Botanical Gardens Even though I had removed a large amount of the egregious tile pattern, I found that it still wasn't nearly smooth enough for my tastes. Most of the surface was spot-puttied and sanded. I've begun re-scribing and correcting detail on the surface and as you can see below, the botanical gardens are underway. |

| Here are the beginnings of the botanical gardens in the secondary hull I had every intention of cutting out the windows delicately enough so that I would only have to sand the dividers. Didn't work that way. So I cut the entire section out and have laid in sheet styrene as dividers. These will be finessed when the glue has set up. Inside of the Botanical garden. Here you can see the window dividers that I have glued in place. At this point I have not yet refined the shapes. Garden pieces assembled. The top will be covered with the ladder-like louvres, which will allow light from the interior to get into the space.
