January 2004 - Part 1 Parts Breakdown

Luckily for me, deconstructing the kit wasn't difficult. I'd left the top of the primary hull unglued to begin with, but the rest of the pieces split easily with no major damage.

 

Here is a shot of all the parts laid out on my desk. At this point, I'd succesffully dis-assembed the model and have begun altering the pieces.

Here is the bridge dome

The photon torpedo tubes in place - the orignals from the kit had virtually no detail on them.
