BERSERKER WARS by Fred Saberhagen provided the backdrop for the special category for the 2003 Sci-Fan Contest.

My entry was a warship that the human characters may have used in the book. It was inspired by the artwork of John Berkey, and several from Boris Vallejo.

This model was a combination of scratch-built and kit-bashed components. The chomed main body and wings were salvaged from a Testor's SR-71 model kit. The model on the lower keel was the backend of a Tiger Fighter by Bandai (Star Blazers). The rest of it was scratch-built using styrene stock, foam, and Magic Sculpt.
